We first met in May 2021 while preparing for the Medora Musical, "The Greatest Show in the West!" Kevin was working in the scene shop while Jeanna rehearsed as a Burning Hills Singer. We met only a week before Kevin's contract ended, and we had to say goodbye. However, we couldn't stop thinking about each other, and within a month, Kevin drove 2000 miles (26 hours) back to Medora, North Dakota.

After that summer, Jeanna got cast in Dollywood's "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" production, and this is when we started racking up the miles. One of us drove through the Blue Ridge mountains almost every weekend that fall/winter to be together. Dollywood at Christmas was a magical place for us to fall in love, not only with each other but also with the Cinnamon Bread!

In the spring, Jeanna moved to North Carolina to be with Kevin while he completed his Master's degree at UNC. The following summer, we returned to Medora for another season of the Medora Musical. At the end of the summer, Kevin proposed while we were on a trip to Minneapolis to see our favorite band, Wild Rivers.

Kevin's work took us on an exciting ride over the past year and a half. After some time in Nashville, we now live in Los Angeles with our two dogs, Ruby and Maeve. Life is good, and we can't wait for the next chapters of our story!
